We at the Highway congregation are striving to be a light for Christ in our community and world. With that in mind, the shepherds have prayerfully set forth these ministries and have placed them in the care of capable people.
We pray you will be involved as we follow Christ's example of service.
HEART GROUPS Sunday evening small group worship and study in homes. This is where we have the best opportunity to be closely involved in each other's lives. When you get connected in a Heart Group, you become like family to each other, meeting each other's needs and growing in an intimate setting.
YOUTH GROUP The main focus of our youth group is to continually grow closer to God and to one another as we try to live by the two greatest commands. In addition to regular classes, the teens are involved in various ministries of the congregation to stay connected to and work with the body as a whole. They are also involved in various missions, retreats, and other events throughout the year.
WOMEN'S GROUP Organized by the wives of elders and ministers
Women’s ministry exists to help the women at Highway attain spiritual maturity as they fellowship and serve one another, the church family, and the community through classes, food groups, special events and more.
KIDS MINISTRIES Shannon Roach (Bible Classes) or Ben Carrigan (Children's Ministry)
Oversees and coordinates children’s Bible classes from nursery through 6th grade. At Highway, we have a set curriculum with specific biblical goals. Each year builds upon previous years’ work. It culminates with the yearly standards review in which the kids have a chance to show their parents and other church members what they have learned.
COLLEGE GROUP Organized by Jim Miller
Students can find their roles in the family, how they can serve the congregation and the community, and find life-long support in our College ministry.
